Workforce Housing & Culinary

TGI builds workforce camps, often called man camps, close to the job, and runs the kitchens that feed the crews who live in them. A data center build can keep hundreds of electricians, ironworkers, and pipefitters on site for years, often far from the nearest town. The schedule depends on that crew showing up rested and fed.

The camp

Housing, meals, and upkeep for the life of the build

01

Camp build-out

TGI plans each camp around the project it serves: the crew at peak, the distance to the site, and how long the work runs. Modular lodging goes in on a prepared site with water, wastewater, and power, and the camp scales with the crew.

  • +Site planning and preparation
  • +Modular lodging sized to the peak crew
  • +Water, wastewater, and utilities
  • +Camp power, with 24/7 fueling and dedicated trucks

02

Culinary

Crews work long shifts, so the kitchen runs on their clock. TGI runs full-service kitchens and dining halls, with hot meals timed to shift changes and packed meals for the hours on site.

Projects

Where crews need a camp

When a project puts a large crew far from housing, the camp goes in first.

Data center and AI campuses
Hyperscale builds that keep large crews on site through construction and commissioning
Power and energy projects
Generation, transmission, and energy builds far from the nearest town
Industrial and construction
Plant builds, expansions, and infrastructure projects with long crew rotations
Storm and disaster response
Base camps that house and feed response crews for as long as the recovery runs

Planning

What to send to plan a camp

A camp starts from the crew and the schedule. These details let TGI size the camp and set out a plan.

Site

Crew
Headcount at peak, and how it ramps up and down
Schedule
Start date, and how long the work runs
Shifts
Shift pattern, and when crews rotate
Meals
Meals per day, and any packed or on-site meal needs
